Nope. I know it's hard to believe but it is possible for six friends to all have the same skin color. Shocking!

I know, right? What an insane, CrAzY world we live in right?

Even crazier, is I have actually witnessed groups of friends of other races the same way: all black, all asian, all females.... it's just nuts!

What an insane, crazy mixed up world we are all forced to live in, where everything isn't perfectly balanced to our every wish!

Maybe someday, with genetic splicing, crossbreading, inbreeding and LAWS, we'll finally make everyone the same and equal. Oh, what a beautiful world it will be....

I always wonder why pc people complain of the lack of diversity on shows like this but never show up on boards for shows with all black, Asian or Latino casts and make the same observation.

About 2/3 rds of the country is white....so statistically it would be very possible that a brother and sister (who would clearly be the same race) would each have a best friend of the same race....and that the male best friend would have a roommate of the same race...all that could even be true amongst a race that is only about 15% of the country.

this is supposed to be NYC in the 1990's. How it it that everybody is white. Yes 2/3rds of the country is white but NYC is statistically not the rest of the country.

Call it what you will but most people hang out with people from their own race. There were black and Asian and Hispanic characters in the show, but this was about six tight friends.

Because it's Watts in Los Angeles in the 70's.....okay now Hispanics make up 61 percent so if they remake the show it would be mostly Hispanic. and African American.

Well, okay. But still, it's a black show with black characters. Just like the appalling new Wonder Years. Some shows are going to be all white, some all black. It's called creating stories and entertainment. Deal with it.
