How were you first made aware of this film?

Have noticed quite a lot of people complaining that this movie did not get enough publicity, so just curious to know how people were initially introduced to it. Seems to be a Cult film in that you only know about it if someone has recommended it to you or if you did your research online.

I just noticed it on some random's top 10 horror list on Amazon and thought the DVD cover looked creepy. Anyone else?

I learned about the movie through youtube, I was watching a video that was called like the top 50 creepiest movie quotes or something like that. The part where its like " I live in the weak and the wounded" was in the video, and i thought that it looked super creepy, so i just had to watch it. It wasnt what i was expecting, I expected something more paranormal because of the shot of the building when he was saying it. Nonetheless I still enjoyed the movie.

I saw it on the internet as a new release for DVD back in the days when I bought any new DVD that looked remotely interesting.

i was house/dog sitting for my parents and nothing good was on t.v. so i was flipping channels. ran across "Session 9" on IFC and it's been a favorite ever since. just wish it hadn't been only me and the dogs watching it the first time - that was a little spooky ;-p

I just saw this tonight, and LOVED it! I cannot think of another movie that had me as riveted throughout as this one did. And I will definitely be watching it again knowing what I know now.

I stumbled across this movie while looking for other recommended "similar" films on IMDB from another horror movie, but I can't remember which one. I am only glad that I found it, for I had never heard of this movie before.

I saw the DVD for only three bucks at a local Big Lots in Central New Jersey, so I decided to buy it.

I stumbled on it at Blockbuster years ago. But I was single and living alone back then. I actually got scared and turned it off. Finally when I was living with my ex, I got to see he whole thing.

Saw it back in 2002... picked up the video-cd by pure chance in an off-the-road video renting library in Chennai, India! :)

My searching was done inside of IMDbase :)
I wanted to rate Time Crime film, so I checked out the main actor. And while looking at his past in movies, I noticed good title The Nameless, and of course I clicked on it. In the section -People who liked this also liked...- I choose the movie Tesis, and in the same section (as mentioned above) was this title Session 9. :)
I love finding movies in particular ways :)

I was looking at IMDB for comments on the movie "Sanitarium" and someone commented that a great move taking place at a sanitarium was 'Session 9.'
Sanitarium was not good but then again anything with Lou Diamond Phillips and Malcolm McDowell in it these days should be avoided. So sad as once were both excellent actors.
