This peak made me rather think of the Lion King. At first glance, I thought your question was about the half-erect penis of the horse Martha was riding on. After reading this thread I am thinking penises may have some symbolic in this film indeed.
shareIt was obviously on purpose. I don't know what the purpose was, maybe it was just for the sake of it? Also when he was sleeping next to a dog, it was lying there like his wife, the dog looked really nice though, it had a strange tenderness to the scene.
