How on gods earth is this a 7.4?

This is a class act movie! Who are the downvoters of this execptionally made picture? But the masterpiece "Age of ultron" rests at an 8? Pathetic

reply

The OP must be pretty airheaded, thinking this stinking piece of atrocity lie propaganda is a masterpiece. A masterpiece of racist $hit. Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter is more faithful to history than this vicious hateful movie.

reply

You are correct. Vampire Hunter is also an entertaining flick. This one is BORING.

reply

7.4 sounds about right.

reply

7.4 out of 100 yes. but out of 10.

It's laughable. LOL.

Pathetic movie.

Lincoln the great is rolling over in his grave. Well, kind of, his bones probably get kinked on each other and prevent him from rolling but I hope you get my point. LOL.

Back during the film's initial release, it had a nice score somewhere around the 8.2 range.

Then, during the Oscar campaign, a backlash started (which seems to happen to every Spielberg film nowadays), presumably by Argo and Django Unchained fanboys who were upset that Spielberg got a Best Director nomination while Affleck and Tarantino did not. That's my opinion anyways.

Whatever. It's a great and entertaining movie that makes politics fun. It's for smart moviegoers only.

Not everybody is going to like the movie. It's not rocket science.

I've never seen it, but I'm going to rate it a 4 just for looking like a bore fest

There are contrite Christians who live in isolation and cause themselves physical pain because of the guilt they feel when thinking about Jesus' crucifixion. Some where barbedwire bracelets. Some put tacks in their shoes so every step they take is excruciating. This is their lot. They've chosen it as the only way to live guilt free in the eyes of the savior. There is almost no length they won't go to to feel their penance is worthy But one thing they're not willing to do is watch Lincoln.

Too many Millenials didn't get to see explosions, tons of CGI, and hot-100 pound girls beating up 220-pound men.

Therefor it held no interest for them.
