Dicaprio's acting - please help

I could not stand him during his Titanic years, but dude is a brilliant actor. His best performance was in the Departed with Blood Diamond second. How he did not win the Oscar for either is beyond me. People hate on him because of his "teen idol" status back in the day.

I can set her straight. Allow me. Someone is mentally unstable if you cannot see his acting talent. Bad actors would mean people like those in these B grade shows and a long list I cannot type out now.

He will not ruin Tarantino's movie. It will be different to see Tarantino and Leo together. Leo's one of the best we have.

to OP and your gf, this movie really convinced me of what a great actor Leo is.

I'm sure she changed her opinion now.

Personally, I feel Dicaprio is good sometimes. I feel he has done brilliant performances which make me forget it is him in Catch me if you can,Gilbert grape, WOWS,Django and Inception. Then films like The Revenant, Shutter Island and The Departed, I feel I am watching him acting. I don't think he is bad just sometimes for me I am watching him act and not the character.

If she wants to see truly bad acting and appreciate all others' acting, she should watch all of chloe grace moretz's movies and shaiene Worley's....

Decaprio is a good enough actor and got better --- This role was NOT worthy of an Oscar Nomination , but he was good in it

He is not my favourite actor but here he did a good performance.
