Who would you conjure up?

This has probably been done before, but I couldn't find it on the boards.

Just curious to see which character (fictional or historical) people would conjure up from the pages of a book if they were silvertongues and why?

Mine would have to be Mr. Frank Churchill from Jane Austen's 'Emma' - because he's cool, fun-loving, devastatingly charming and witty and would be awesome to hang around with!

The moment I read this I thought... Mmmm, the OP should have made a little rule: "ladies, who besides Mr. Darcy and Aragorn would you conjure up"? ;) They were my first thoughts, but I decided to leave "ideal fictional guys" alone, so...

Hanna, from the English Patient. She has seen much, since she was a child she's had interesting experiences (this info you get from the book that comes before the English Patient, why don't I recall it's name?) she's an interesting woman, and I'd love to talk about life with her.

My country's first Emperor, D. Pedro I. There's so much I'd like to ask him: a lot has been written about his personal and public life, his habits and his political beliefs, but somehow I feel that no one has ever been able to understand him or explain him completely. A monarch who wanted absolute power here, but who fought alongside the Liberals in Portugal. A man who actually made his first daughter marry her uncle (!) while still a child (!!!), but seemed to be a loving father in spite of that. This sometimes national hero, sometimes national villain has always excited my curiosity.

There are many others, but these two are fine for now.

Legolas - LOTR
Bill and Sookie - Southern Vampire series
Andrea and Emily - The Devil Wears Prada
Mr. Darcy - Pride & Prejudice
Flying monkeys - Wizard of Oz

And Owen Palmer from my favorite chick lit book, Enchanted Inc. Biggest fictional character crush I've ever had! lol

Every now & then look around. Drink it in. Cause this is it. It might all be gone tomorrow.

I'm not sure I would read anybody out because in Inkheart they always seem sad to be there. Except Farid hehe. But if I knew I could definitely send them back after a while....

King Arthur! From any of the multiple stories about him :) How awesome would that be? So would Merlin for that matter.

Also, Westley from "Princess Bride" because he seems funny and carefree. I have a feeling he would annoy me after a while though.

And I'd read out most of the surviving humans from "The Host" because shame, they're living inside a mountain. Seems like a crappy life and all they want is to live back in the days with no aliens.

I also love Aslan form the Chronicles of Narnia, but I don't think he'd appreciate being summoned against his will....

I've never read this book, but saw the movie for the first time two hours ago. This was a topic I was thinking about while watching. I read obsessively and also write. If I could bring people out of books I would want all of my favorite characters from the Potter books. Sam and Dean Winchester and Bobby Singer from the Supernatural book series. Some of the characters from the Hunger Games series. Then I would want some of the characters from my own books. My entire world would be populated with fictional characters to be honest lol.
