Every broken lizard fan hates atleast one of their movies

I've read so many fan posts, and someone will always say, "oh I love all their movies but puddle cruiser sucked", or club dread was a pile of stink... Or beerfest was their weakest effort... Some mad men even say super troopers was a waste of their time >_<

Everyone seems to have different opinions on their best movie, if there was a poll I'd say it'd be pretty even.

I love all their movies, I don't get how you can like a couple but despise the others when it's similar material written by the same people.

Am I the only one that loves them all?...

reply

I love all their movies that I have seen, and that's all of them except for Club Dread.

I hate horror/thriller/knife/blood movies so I will probably never see it.

Well, I have seen a little of it when it has been aired on TV a couple of times, and I have always said something like "hey, it's those guys, sweet" and watched until something "bleh" happened.

Club Dread is great, you're missing out. It's worth the hour forty of your life.

I live broken lizard but I hated slammin salmon...
my list goes
club dread
puddle cruiser
super troopers
beer fest
slammin salmon
And technically they all took part in dukes of hazzard which was really ok there.

reply

I love them all.

Puddle Cruiser is a great movie, and I'm sure a majority of people watched it AFTER Super Troopers, so that's what they were expecting. Some people don't appreciate the Subtlety of it.

Super Troopers is well... CLASSIC, and brilliant.

Club Dread... an awesome mix of horror and slapstick.

Beerfest... is there a better movie to watch, drunk... or sober for that matter?

The Slammin' Salmon... now, maybe it's just cause I've worked in a restaurant my whole life and know that this is about 98% correct, but I think it's their best effort to date!

The Dukes of Hazzard... f'n stupid, but funny as hell!

Broken Lizard are genius.

You put club dread over super troopers? Are you kidding me?

reply

Yeah... how dare he have an opinion, and stuff.

reply

Hipsters... Am I right?

reply

On what planet is Club Dread above Super Troopers and Beerfest?

reply

His opinion planet. People have different tastes and like different things.

reply

I would have liked Club Dread more if the ending wasn't so DAMN long!

also, some of the jokes weren't in-your-face funny, and kind of seen-that-already funny.

everything else I've pretty much liked! I even watched Slammin' Salmon recently and found it fun if not always hilarious.

reply

Puddle cruiser wasn't that terrible for their first project I couldn't get myself to like Club Dread it just didn't do it for me, Maybe I will give it a another shot though! I can't wait for Super Troopers 2 the first one is practically a classic. Beer fest was great and I loved Slammin' Salmon I used to work in a restaurant too so i could relate.

reply

club dread was funny as hell.
"sea shanties and wet panties", and "a hammock with a view of heaven" make me laugh every time.

reply

i love all of them except puddle cruiser which i haven't seen, and I believe the slammin salmon to be their worst effort, i still liked it though

reply

Slammin Salmon was the worst by far

Super Troopers and Bearfest reign supreme for me but i love club dread too

reply

Super Troopers
Slammin' Salmon
Club Dread
(That one scene in) Dukes of Hazard
Puddle Cruiser
Beerfest

reply

Hate's a strong word. But my least favorite is definitely Slammin' Salmon. But I wouldn't say I hated it. And I've yet to see Puddle Cruiser.

Rack 'em

reply

I love all but one, and I though Beerfest and Super Troopers were both brilliant, Slammin Salmon was a smoother, slow burn hilarious comedy and Dukes of Hazard was all out retarded, the way it should have been and was a comedic success. Club Dread on the other hand... it was... uninspired.

Beerfest was my favorite. i remeber when i was stuck at home for two weeks with a busted leg i must have watched that movie at least ten although the pain medicine that i was on probably helped a bit good ol' percocets now that i think about it it may been closer to about twenty times.
