There have been a plethora of ethnically diverse "Elfaba's" - including African American. I know you're trying to make an issue where there isn't one, though, so I won't waste my breath.

I watched it in London and the actress was a person of color. She might be a good singer, but it irritated me, I had less issues with Glinda being also a Person of Color.
