What Franchises Are Left?

With this movie destroying the Indiana Jones franchise, how many iconic film franchises are still left? Star Wars was destroyed, Jurassic Park was destroyed, No Time to Die ruined James Bond, The Matrix destroyed, Rambo was ruined by Last Blood, Die Hard 5 ruined Die Hard, Alien has been destroyed, Harry Potter ruined by Fantastic Beasts, Terminator completely butchered, Toy Story was ruined by Toy Story 4, etc.

Mission Impossible is still good, but for how long? They didn’t ruin LOTR yet, but I assume they will. Back to the Future is safe, but for how long? Why is Hollywood obsessed with destroying classic franchises?

Franchises are designed for suckers.

Lethal Weapon? I'm not going to say Robocop because that was destroyed back in 1993.

reply

Starting with part 3 Lethal weapon turned into a cross between the Three Stooges and the Cosby show.

reply

Luckily they still haven't ruined the Highlander saga yet. Every entry is solid gold.

LOL!

It's become fashionable thanks to the putrid reddit community and their hateful pretentious echo chambers to hate on everything and think everyone must also hate things just like them or like things just like them. The hive mind idiocy. We all know group iq lowers but reddit iq is in idiot territory.

And emergence of morons like Critical Drinker who speaks nonstop hate in his video as if he's paid by how many words he can crank in his ad infested videos has become like the in thing for ad revenue on YouTube.

Many of the things you consider ruined are not and I've found many movies to be good and fun sequels. I don't really get the irrational hate and need to put something down when others enjoy them.

I don't think Indiana Jones or a few other franchises have been ruined at all. It's just that you don't like them. That's all.
There's many who do.

reply

They haven't touched Back to the Future at least.
