I saw it when I was 14 for the first time, borrowed it off a friend after trying to see it for so long. That was in 2002.

I saw American Pie 2 before I saw the original and I saw 2 in 2002 (when I was 12) once it came out on video, then I saw the original not long after .... I'm 22 now
O/T that's a lot of 2's.......

I was really embarrassed the first time my parents took me to a movie that was R rated and had only a very brief topless scene. I was only 12 going on 13 at the time. That movie was The Godfather. Yeah, that's right. That was like in 1972. Oh well, I guess there are several people who posted in this thread that they were 36 or 37 when they first saw American Pie in 1999. I guess I have them all beat at a youthful 40 back in 99. What can I say? I have always been a big fan of teen romance and romance comedies ever since movies like Saturday Night Fever and Fast Times at Ridgemont High.
I was shocked to read through this whole thread and see so many kids that actually saw these film when they were 9 or 10. I couldn't even imagine what my reaction what have been if any of these movies came out when I was that age.

shareI was a junior in high school when that was released so I most likely was 17 at the time.
I don't know if I'd like the movies as well if I didn't grow up side by side with them having the movies paralleling the various points of my life alongside the story.
I was a sophomore in High School and these films perfectly went along with my age group and many of the same funny things we were trying to do, getting laid was number 1. I had actually lost my virginity in 8th grade but it was over so quick that it was almost like I was trying to get laid for the first time again lol
