I saw it when I was 14 for the first time, borrowed it off a friend after trying to see it for so long. That was in 2002.

I saw it in 1999 when I was 15 years old and a sophomore in High School. I love all 4 films. I grew up with AP.

shareI saw it for the first time and i was 21. I graduated in 1996 so i still had vivid memories of high school, graduating only 3 years before. As the movies continued, i was close enough to them in age where it was very relatable. Which is why i love this movie. As a married man with 3 kids i can understand Jim and the things he was going through.
I wonder if people who graduated high school long before this movie came out really like this movie, since they were young during a different period.
Bit late on the fray but I actually saw the original in 2007 at the age of 18! My parents never let me watch the movies before then :( I could definitely relate to the characters haha I'm almost 24 now.
shareI was about 14 when I first saw it, in 2002, after renting it on VHS. I was really curious to see it when it first came out in '99, but my mom strictly said no. I just kinda shrugged it off, because I was just curious why everyone was talking about it so much (I didn't really know about 'teen sex comedies' back then; I was way more concerned with seeing the South Park movie).
I loved it, laughed my ass off. Rented the second one, had the same reaction. Saw the third one in theaters, had the same reaction. These days, not so much. But the first one's still not too bad.
