How does a woman who constantly eats junk food stay thin?


It's not very realistic that a woman who gorges on ice cream and KFC and sleeps all day would stay as fit and slender as Charlize Theron does.

She seemed to survive on Diet Coke. I only remember one scene of her eating and it was like she ordered a large amount of food. She probably doesn't eat much. Oh, yes, she did eat ice cream, but it was a small container. She's also pretty tall. I think she's right under 6ft.

Well, she does exercise using the game just after she wakes up at the beginning of the film. She also drinks diet Coke.
I suspect what initiated her eating Ice Cream and KFC was that she was shocked and depressed because her ex was having a baby. She behaved just like one might do if one's just been dumped by a boyfriend...

As some others have pointed out, I think the real question is, what does Charlize Theron eat (really eat) to stay thin? Does anyone know the true answer to that? B/c little 'ol me would like to know!

As for in the movie, her character is unhealthy all around. She is malnourished (always eating Lean Quisines and alcohol) and not very healthy. If the question is "how does she keep thin?" I think it is not how, but for how long. This is a movie, casted with the beautiful (and healthy looking in person, not in this movie) Charlize. Her character, on the other hand, is on a downward spiral, so...

Plus it's fantasy. Please don't get your eating tips from the movies. Charlize Theron is not Mavis.

If we go by what we see of Mavis, besides what she eats, we see that she has thinning hair and an emotional problem. When I add 2 + 2 + 2, maybe her diet is a part of that. Malnourished does not = happy. Malnourished = sick all around.

People in movies and on TV often eat unrealistically. The characters eat like normal people, but the actors have to eat a very specific diet in order to stay so lean.

Probably genetics or gut bacteria. Some people, myself included, maintain the same size/weight regardless of what we eat.

Some people are just thin. If I increase my food intake, I tend to lose weight. I think it speeds up my metabolism, which makes me burn more calories. Don't hate me because I'm beautiful.
