After watch the movie I'll never travel to Italy.
1. Mafia can order the head of the police.
2. Small business have to pay mafia.
3. Mafia can kill people and POLICE in public!
I never know Italy is worse than Mexico.

Movies tend to greatly exaggerate things but there is the parts of Italy that are OK for the tourists and then the everyday parts the people have to live in. Everyday Italy is far removed from the romanticized notions that get shown in movies such as Under the Tuscan Sun.
shareAre you serious or are you trolling ? I can't understand ha ha
I am half Italian and you can travel anywhere in Italy without anything happening to you (except a few specific neighborhoods like anywhere in the world)
I travelled through Italy on train in 1997. Got robbed three times .
Are you trolling ? Lived in Italy many many years and never got robbed or assaulted or anything like that ; of course you have to be careful ; and the last 20 or 30 years with huge increase of immigration from African and Arab countries in Europe of course it is much more less safe than before
shareAs a foreigner you are more probably to be targeted.
shareI can’t understand the trolling accusation in light of your last sentence.
shareNo offense but man, your country looks completely busted/disgusting.
shareUnless you're going there to commit major crimes, I think you'll be just fine.
shareI’ve been to Italy and it is the most beautiful country I’ve ever seen. I’ve never had such good food and seen such beautiful art and churches and architecture. The people are spectacular. It’s perfection. Also. All windows are big and open out. No screens.
