Claire's Hair is Distracting

I may be the only one who thinks this, but Claire's hair is a serious distraction. It looks like a bad comb over. It's is flat, limp and totally devoid of any body. Oh, how I wish she'd get a new style!!

For real? I think Claire looks damn sexy with that hairstyle, i don't have a problem with it, but to each his own.

You've gotta focus more on what is going on in the show rather than a hairstyle, stop being shallow. Just some friendly advice.

Remember this isn't America's Next Top Model or any other show focused on appearance, remember that.

Is there a reason she can't wash it? I have given it a thought or two, I don't believe it is becoming but perhaps it suits her, since she is such a lying, hateful bitch?

MWallace777: Who said that Claire never washed her hair?? The OP could have made a more decent post about the different hair colour, at one point Claire dyed her hair dark brown, that would have been a more interesting discussion. But the OP has freedom of speech as do you and i, so...

To OP, lauranplano, I came on this board to find a thread on Claire's (awful) hair and bingo, I saw your post immediately. Thank you, her hair is distracting. What the name-callers and comments that disagree don't understand is (to quote Marshall McLuhan) "The medium is the message."* The message is influenced through what form it is presented.

If something distracts the listener or viewer, e.g. Claire's hair in this case, it influences how she is perceived and what happens in the scene.

So far, am at end of season 2, IMHO, Claire's hair style makes her look manly and severe. One poster noted it could use a good wash. However, her clothes, especially her suits, are impeccable.

Isis-Ascending: Claire isn't supposed to be a girly feminine woman though.

She's all woman, her facial features are still feminine. Women with short hairstyles have sex appeal.

Thanks, filmcritic-16538 for your thoughtful reply. I agree Claire is all woman! She's strong without being masculine, although her face has more angular features and a stronger chin than most females. IMHO, her hair style looks like a rockstar's e.g, David Bowie, Justin Bieber *talk about girlie 😁
Note: the thread's title is "Claire's Hair is Distracting" and many viewers are distracted by the severe hair style than on the content of her spoken lines. But you're right, it's a subjective call.

I agree with you short hair is sexy (on attractive women.) 🐅

If you go by Wright's candids recently she will sport a longer bob on season 5. Does it suits you better?

As a general rule, I never like short hair on women. Every woman with short hair looks better with long hair
