Why on earth? Who wants to see same elderly actress with her boring running away from murderer in 6-th movie?

Ditching her was the best they could do. She is not a star and should have been ditched after first movie. That mask is star. They can put it on whoever they want, cast whoever they want and someone is gonna see it.

They should either cancel this movie or write new characters and cast new people.

But they always bring back the 'elderly actress' for horror now , JLC in new Halloweens , the new Exorcist, even Linda Hamilton in Terminator , and Sigourney was close to coming back for an Aliens sequel, .. They'll probably bring back Heather langenkamp for the new Nightmare

But not for every movie. I could never stand Neve Campbell boring face in first movie. Never understood why they kept bringing her back. Last Scream movie finally shoved to those producers that Mask is star of movie, not Neve Campbell.

They should have got new cast every other movie. No one needs to bring back this Jenn Ortega and that cancelled one actress. They were boring and very very forgettable.

I’ll give them good idea.

They could actually hire teen stars of the 90-th in several roles. For people to enjoy. Like Ryan Phillippe, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Josh Hartnett, Eliza Dushku, Alicia Silverstone, Stacey Dash, Alfonso Ribeiro, Heyden Christensen, Haley Joel Osment, Christina Ricci, Edward Furlong etc.

Just pick someone. They all would agree since they don't do much anyway. And people would love to see them back on their screens.

I mean they could even bring Drew Barrymore as twin sister of her character. And basically any actor who played beloved dead character and present them as Twin Sister /Brother. This way actor can get back. Even Skeet Ulrich or Matthew Lillard can be back. This time as Good Person.

Was she? Damn. I didn't watch all movies or watched them once and forgot.

Well - they can pretend she never was and plays different character. Or pretend she is sister of that dead one.

They really should stop killing SMG in horror movies. I Know What You Did Last Summer could never become Scream like franchise because they killed two most coolest and interesting characters in first movie - SMG and Ryan Phillippe and there was no one to hold it on. With Freddie and Jennifer being bore fest so no one cared about second movie.

Why? What new you want to see from her character? Don't ypu want to live her somewhere to be happy and safe? Do you want to see her constantly be chased and abused?
