Why is it that I feel you don't understand that there are adult cartoons as well as children's cartoons. Adults get to do things with and for adults once their time is done and their due is paid. Is it that you feel that any sentence should be a life sentence?
Do you people who defend Mike Tyson feel Brock Turner the Stanford rapist should have his own cartoon in a few years too?
shareWere he to serve his time and meet all of the requirements that the state requires of him, of course he should have the same opportunities as any other citizen. I assume you believe he should serve a life sentence? Perhaps you believe that any young person who commits a crime should just go ahead and give him or herself over to being a lifetime criminal as that is the only choice that you would leave to them. Perhaps you simply believe we should just put a bullet in them.
I, on the other hand, believe that people can change, especially young people. I believe that rehabilitation is a possible thing for a human being. I will never fail to believe that a bad person who has done bad things can become a good person who does good things.
As for Mike Tyson, yes he was convicted of rape, in 1992, almost 25 years ago. It was the result of something that happened when he was 24 years old. He did what was required of him and did so with good behavior. In the 25 years since he has not been accused of a single act of violence against another human being (outside of a ring). Yes, I believe it is perfectly fine for Mike Tyson to have an off color, adult, cartoon.
