Returning actors did not age well

Judge Reinhold (age 66) looked terrible - and that was before his days of torture. He did his best to hide his excess weight but he wasn't looking good.

John Ashton looks his age (age 75) but he wasn't believable because he obviously should have retired decades earlier to address all the health issues he described in his first scene. And he made clear that he lacked interest in the job. If he just wanted time away from his wife, there are plenty of less stressful things he could be doing.

Paul Reiser looked fine (age 67) but I wouldn't have even recognized him. Both his appearance and his line delivery were nothing like before.

Bronson Pinchot (age 64) wasn't looking too good for his age but I enjoyed his delightfully weird speech issues although I continue to wonder what his native language was supposed to be.

Eddie Murphy (age 62) has aged well. I guess it helps when you're worth $200M and can afford to take it easy and enjoy a first-class lifestyle.

PS: I've listed their age as their real age minus 1 to account for what it was when filming.

Judge Reinhold has looked terrible for years to be fair.

White people age like milk.

I thought Mickey Rourke was in the movie.

Look amazing for 30 years and decline or look like shit for 50 but remain the same. It's just a different trade off.

Making sequels 30 years later is ridiculous.

Agree 100%. Its also weird seeing these characters this old trying to do these roles. It just doesnt work. To pull off a continuation after this long is very tricky. Outside of Cobra Kai Im not sure its been done effectively. People talk about Top Gun Maverick but its really just Tom Cruise that made it back plus its an outlier. Cobra Kai managed to change its entire tone. I dont think you can keep the same tone for a sequel that far out away from the original material.

The Hustler & Color Of Money? That worked. Stallone has also kind of been able to pull it off with Rambo and Rocky. I guess theres a couple. VERY hard to do though.

Ive not seen Cop 4 yet. Just some scenes. Im not sure I want to after what I watched. My normal protocol is to ignore any new reboots or far out sequels to not wreck the originals for me. Its worked. Always liked Cop 1 and 2 for what they are. Im curious about this but its not looking good.

Judge looks like what he looks like. But he sounds like he's dying.

Saw a picture of Judge Reinhold the other day. He looked dreadful.

not looking forward to seeing that . In the original Billy was the young dumb fresh faced excitable teenager(looking) , now aged 100 years.

Hey, they all looked better than Nassim Pedrad and she's only 42. Goodness gracious! So sad what she's done to her face. 10 years ago, she had me drooling. Nowadays, she has me wondering what she did to look like that. Took me a while to even recognize it was her. I had to check her imdb to see if she was in this and sadly, it was her. smh

I think Eddie looks pretty bad too.

Let's see how you look in 39 years lol... they were okay.
