Favourite/least favourite characters?

My favourites: Stevie and David.

Least: not sure.

The only that annoys me is Roland, but that's how we're supposed to feel about him.

Favourite: none
Least favourite: all of them
Burn in hell because you SUCK: Eugene Levy's talentless son and the practice of nepotism, funded by our tax dollars.

David is my favorite. Stevie is my least favorite. I usually love that kind of straight-faced, deadpan sarcasm, but I don't think she pulls it off well. She just comes across as having absolutely no personality at all.

Love DAVID! Hmmm...least...I guess Roland?

I love the whole Rose family equally. Then Stevie and Jocelyn. There's something about Twyla that irks me. Maybe it's because she's really snarky in a humorless way. Roland is just plain icky. The less I see of him the better.

All of them and here's why: they're all fine actors.
I've been binge-watching for the past few weeks, about an episode a day.
Some of the characters are witty, annoying, dreary, irritating, screechy, draggy, frivolous, intense, superficial, greedy, generous etc, etc. That's because the roles the actors play call for it and they do a really good job at it.
I must admit some parts seemed to drag a bit, and it's like the storylines were being bogged down, but things recovered and reached yet another height. There were times I thought I'd just delete the rest unwatched, but persevered, and I'm glad I did.

It's changed. For the first three seasons, my favorite was David, and I didn't care for Alexa or Moira at all. Towards the end, I actually liked Moira the most as she was still a caricature, but she showed growth as a human being and I liked watching that. Same with Alexa in season 4, but then her character regressed in the beginning of season five back to the caricature she was in season 1 and that was a bit jarring. Perhaps because the identity politics movement was at its zeitgeist when the Apothecary was opened, but they put David in a gay relationship and made it the main focus of the show. Still a good character, but IMO he became less of a unique character and more of the stereotypical over-the-top gay man we so often see in television shows and movies. Also, I know they are trying to make a statement, but they don't have to try and shoehorn in David macking on guys into every single episode. We've probably watched more man-on-man kissing with David (Patrick and the threesome guy) than all the hetero kissing combined.

Fav : All of them except.... Least Fav :ROLAND!!! I nearly quit on the show during episode one because of how "Extra" Roland character was. His old Scream 2 shtick about touching the food with his hand was painfully unfunny to me. With that said they toned him down and he becomes OK in later episodes . I'm glad I continued watching as the show kept improving and getting better. I miss it already.
