EPISODE 7 - WHY?!?!?!

Jump the shark much?

Are you *beep* kidding me?

This episode is so out of place I can't even fathom if it's a joke or what.

I was totally into 1-6... episode 7 body swap? WTF? Nobody said no to this? They just let it happen?

/facepalm

Show was riding at about a 90-something/100 for me. Until episode 7. Holy *beep* *beep* horrible.

In the words of GRRM, they also commit the act of montage. Jesus christ please don't ruin this show!

Just had finished watching ep 6, Came to IMDB to see the ratings and such. Saw your thread title on the page. Left. Didn't want any spoilers. Clicked ep 7. "Body Swap" ... they started doing shots. "hmmm, I think I've seen this ... OMG What!"

thanks for the heads up. I wasn't as shocked as you must've been. LMAO.

wtf

Also, the only people who can perfectly portray their Freaky counterparts are Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis! These guys were horrible at play each other.

Also, if anything, the people who should be Freaky Fridaying are Skye and her father. Those two don't get along. David and his dad seemed fine, until that restaurant scene, where they just forcefully faught.

Nothing to add except I totally agree- MAYBE if they had explained why the old "oriental" guy did that to them it would have been interesting.

Only thing I can think of is there were more than a few movies in the 80s about that kind of 'trading places' theme so maybe it was an homage (first time I have ever used that word- ugghh) to that 80s theme.

I agree S1E7 was weak. What struck me, however, is how the show hit a much better stride with the episodes immediately after it. While the earlier episodes (before 7) were fine, even they were overshadowed by those after 7 especially E9. The Bar Mitzvah was far better written, directed and acted than anything before it in this series. It is like the show hit a whole new stride and level of quality after E7.
