I couldn't keep up with the movie without thinking about something. It fills you with stupidity and goes nowhere. Maybe i missed something but but don't know what the buzz is all about, about this movie, one of the worst horror movies i have ever seen and i have seen worse.

I agree. I didn't get why that guy targeted the woman in the first place, was he a fan or not of her books? Was he an ex-boyfriend? Was he just crazy and wanted to target a deaf woman? Which is weird since I don't think he even knew she was deaf. I didn't get why he didn't break the window anyway, to kill her off and the story would be over. And why she didn't help that John guy (or whatever his name was when he was trying to strangle the man and all she did was stay inside and do basically nothing.

He explained that he could get in and kill her right away but he wanted to play with her and make her suffer.
He targeted her because he realized she's deaf (that whole part after he kills the neighbor and taps on the glass is there to show how he realizes she's deaf) and wanted to have some fun.
Exactly, there is more scenes like what you mentioned. Part of it was her inner voice was so negative that it prevented from her doing anything proactive. She also didnt have any safety net for being in middle of nowhere, no alarm, no backup emergency call. Did she live so isolated for the quiet?
The guy also was able to climb after falling from a roof, its not shattering, but it will knock the wind out of you, landing on your back, even if its 10feet, look maybe 16ft.
You must have missed a small but crucial scene. After she captures his crossbow and is trying to figure it out, she notices a bunch of notches he has made on it signaling that he's a serial killer.
