"Unusual voting activity" for Little Mermaid but not this?

Don't get me wrong, I liked Across the Spider-Verse, but it's not a 9/10 average, let alone a 10. On the other hand, I thought Little Mermaid was bad, but not 1/10 bad, yet conveniently only the latter needed an "alternate calculation".

With that said, there's currently 62k 10/10 votes, double that of the 31k 1/10 votes for Little Mermaid, yet IMDb let Spider-Verse slide. Also, if racism is the reason why Little Mermaid has a bad IMDb score, so much so that they needed to "fix" the score, why is Spider-Verse doing so well? For the sake of fairness, why aren't the high scores being adjusted like the low scores are?

LM has a natural peak of 7-8, so the 1* peak is an outlier therefore fake.
Racists at MC, YouTube and StormFront are further proof!
ASV has a steady rise from 7 to 10, and the Metascore of 8.6 is close to Imdb rating.

Outliers alone aren’t proof that they’re fake, and I have yet to see racists on MC or YouTube diss on the movie on a scale enough to affect the score. There’s no point in mentioning Stormfront, their contribution to society is negligible.

The rise from 7-10 for Spider-Verse is not steady, or else l wouldn’t have said anything. There’s a noticeable spike in the 10 rating from an unusually high number of people. That’s to be expected with early screenings, but with the general audience? It’s worth investigating at least.
