I checked out after 1 season. Its too confusing

I watched first season. It was okey I guess. And rare case when apocalypse happens in Europe and not in USA as usual.

Then they had 1.5 years between premiere of second season. And I missed that. Honestly I thought show was cancelled. I forgot about its existence. And then I stummble upon season 3 premier. )))

So I start watching season 2 to catch up. And I dont remember anything that happened in season 1. Who are these characters, what were they doing. There was some creepy son and blind girl. And robots-dogs or something. Thats all I could remember.

I watched 2 episodes of season 2 and stopped. As I couldnt understand what was happening, who were some robot-people or whatever. And who is who. And it doesnt help that all characters are unsympathetic and un-charismatic and you have zero desire to root for them.
And they jump between them constantly.

Yeah the show is very Euro/French centric, and that’s ok… but still confused why the future humans went back in time to screw over all humanity … the whole show is a mess of alternate realities and a “black hole” (currents season)that leads to two different realities & that somehow doesn’t suck the earth in

I would not say it was too confusing, but it was completely scientifically mish-mash and ridiculous. Last episode of S3 played tonight and all in all I thought it turned out to be really good.

reply

So you are blaming the show because you forgot what happened in the previous season.

I just watched all 3 seasons and it was great.

reply

Yes. It means that nothing memorable and entertaining was happening previously.

And I love all sci-fi shows and movies. It has to be really bad or boring for me to stop watching.

reply

Yeah, I agree. It was just a bunch of unmemorable people wandering around and speaking french. I didn't know there was a third season, I thought the show ended in the second season. I doubt I'll bother with the third season.

reply

I remember all characters were unsympathetic, there was simply no one to root for.

It’s a great show, like you said in the title it’s
too confusing for you.
