Any good?

This movie came out last year and has a 6.1 rating, but oddly only 3 reviews in IMDb and no discussions here at all? Anyone seen this?

My daughter and her husband just watched it and said it was good until the end. I didn’t ask them why. I’m still interested to see it.

Cool, I'm pretty keen to see it too, esp. given it's got a 7 rating which is pretty good for a horror flick.

reply

It was wonderful and unexpected.

reply

Awesome, thanks.

Just saw it today...I found it very tedious at times and really didn't like the movie.

Most reviews have been positive and it's got a 7 rating which is pretty high for a horror movie. So I'll be watching it. Guess it's not for everyone.

Thanks guys, stoked to see it's got a 7 rating in IMDb, which is awesome for a horror movie. Looking forward to watching it.

i thought it was really good, & would definitely recommend trying to catch it in a theatre if you can, as it's got some very effective sound moments that i think cry out for that theatre-level system.

i did find the ending a bit underwhelming and a touch confusing, but overall i thought it was very much worth watching.

Thanks. I'm in NZ and we're in lockdown currently. If it's still running in the theaters once lockdown lifts, I'll defo see it there.

It’s in theaters for us here, and we just saw it tonight. We both really enjoyed it a lot. I can see why the ending might seem a little quiet and/or not quite what was expected, but I thought it was good and there’s a lot to think about. I felt that Rebecca Hall’s performance in the lead as Beth was very, very good.

we liked it also. completely agree with rebecca's performance. she had to convey a lot of different emotions and did it well. the ending to us just felt rushed. but we were still fine with the ending and enjoyed it. we werent sure she was reliable and skeptical to where it was going. a little more explaining of owen's understanding, mightve satisfied some of my questions.

reply

Well done...definitely worth seeing on the big screen.

Suspend your disbelief high for this whacked out ghost story.
