Depends. I love the first two Alien movies and the follow-ups are mediocre. I love the franchise because of the first two so I'll watch anything related to it whether it is Prometheus or the new Alien: Covenant.

I post as much as I can on the older films. In particular foreign ones. I've noticed a lack of posts too unless it's something like Psycho or Citizen Kane. I kind of hope when it shows up on "trending" someone might look at the cover and feel inclined to click it and check the movie out for themselves.
I'm doing the best I can to start conversations on both popular and obscure films. I hope eventually it will attract newer people to the site down the line.
I guess I must've seen that version on DVD because that quality was crisp.

Your title makes it sound like the 70's were not such a great decade for movies. Either way, I wouldn't even put this close to one of the best films in any decade.
"No reference", "probable inspiration". Why offer a reference to something that may not be an inspiration at all?

It was weird. It looked like they were covering it at first and then all of a sudden... there is was. It also made me feel weird looking at an Amish woman, who are known for being very conservative, in that light.
Not sure what you mean from using Amish as a tourist attraction. Most people drive right by and nothing else.
