Sooo, it's your personal preference then. It is not fact. I wish they hadn't removed the comment boards from IMDB. That was hugely popular! On second thought, maybe it is. But the prospect of living in your 50's while mentally still only under the age of 10, missing out on all those years, is more sad and scary than if they died too. All of them presumably. I think what is meant is terminally ill people. A lot of terminally ill people volunteer themselves for trails and whatnot. But that is too common and so cliché. Yes because decomposing dead bodies don't grow, the degenerate; die. How can you be so sure she'd never see this page? Hmm? Are you speaking for the rest of the human population or is that your personal preference? Did you not see the scene where the cop was handed the notebook? It was in a baggie. "the girl folding into a pretzel was messed up and stupid" - Why was that stupid? She had a severe calcium deficiency which made her bones extremely brittle. "there was a couple of scenes where there was 2 timelines" - Which scenes? "why did all the adults go crazy and just say random stuff?" - They didn't, only Charles did. The others were clearly in shock and traumatised. "where did Kara get a bathing suit?" - Probably from her mother. "why did Guy and Prisca just die, they didnt look that old" - Yeah that was never explained. Presumably just old age. Given that the kids were nearly 50 by this point it's safe to assume the parents were quite old! "how long was the rapper on the beach? he was there before anyone else but never aged"- We don't know how old he was to begin with. He did age but wasn't obvious as he was only on scene for half a day. "how did Trent get the book through the water?" - He put it inside a baggie. "If you heal as fast as wolverine after seeing Charles slash at Guy and Prisca so many times yet survive, why didn't the rapper survive?" Because the wounds inflicted on Guy and Prisca were not fatal, and so they healed. The rapper had multiple fatal blows, puncturing vital organs, hence his death. There's no healing from that even without the rapid aging process. It is just M. Night Shamalamalama's filming style. They did erase the records of the missing people as stated during the scene of the secret lab. If Trent and Maddox reported what happened to the police themselves then, yes, it would be too easy and unbelievable. But they didn't. The reason the police took it seriously, and what started the investigation, was that it was the cop at the resort who actually reported the notebook with all the missing peoples' names. That's absolutely all they need for a warrant to search the entire complex. They'd find the lab, equipment, experiments, documentation, etc, and learn what was going on. Then I guess then the two siblings would explain who they are which could easily be verified via blood work and DNA. Or it could be the fact that it is extremely difficult to enact and convey that much pain convincingly, especially if you've never personally experience that much pain before. I agree! Like galahad said, the rex coming through the sun roof was done with a real car and an animatronic dino. In fact, the rex wasn't meant to actually break through the glass, it malfunctioned. The fear the kids exhibited was actually real. I think I read somewhere that that scene took place only a couple of months after the last film. It would have feasted on the hybrid rex that it killed. The rest of the film took place three years after the last one. It makes sense because it's the DNA they took from the hybrid rex's rib that helped create the Indorapter, which would've taken quite a while to achieve. There was no 'ranting and raving'. As other people have mentioned, he was against the whole idea from the very beginning due to the potential and eventual ramifications. I actually like that fact they added his part because it's adding to the realisation that you cannot and will not played god successfully. And like he said, nature will always find a way. Oh my god, I'm so glad I'm not the only one devastated by the scene with the brachiosairus! I can't tell you how much I cried! I had to pause the film after that to compose myself. That stayed with me for quite some time, and every time i thought about it I cried again. I was watching it with my then boyfriend, and he said "That really got to you, didn't it". I replied "Yeah, it totally fucked me up"! Lol. Truly and utterly devastating!
