In the 1997 movie there are deleted scenes with Lightoller etc. being rescued as they all balance on collapsible B. Unfortunately I guess they had to be cut for time.
Many survivors testified that the ship split in two 46 years before this film was even released.

To fix this kind of thing we just need to convince Disney (since they apparently can't fire her) to make Kathleen Kennedy a new office...a locked (from the outside) soundproof vault, with padded walls, and a faraday cage surrounding it.
Then with any luck they can get on with making stuff that isn't awful.

He should stop taking things to heart. You can't please everyone and if you start diluting your vision to try to do that, you end up with something that pleases no one.
If you know the difference between fantasy and reality then it's not a problem.
It is shot like a proper film from the 80s, no stupid fast cuts, no CGI bullshit. Great lighting in some scenes, great shot length. Actually enjoyable for those of us who aren't 3-second-attention-span TikTok fuckwits.
Both Immaculate and Late Night with the Devil suffered with kind of weak endings.
