I came here to write something similar, except I’d go one further…
S1: Was very good.
S2: Was like… whole series nothing, then eleven saves day at end.
S3: well… what happened? It became just a show for kids. A kids coming of age series. Without humour, just really unlikable characters.
I think you hit the nail on the head - s01 - maybe it’s always been a kids show, and I didn’t see it - because the adult characters had so much “story” to tell. The kids were also dealing with the main issue of the “upside down” - and finding their friend.
S3 just seemed to be about nothing but kids issues.
I couldn’t finish 3, stopped when they decided the Russian message. So will never see 4.
Watch the last kingdom. It’s got visions and stuff - but it’s all “real” no supernatural stuff
I have 100% the same issue - can’t stop Fooking about with my phone when watching movies/tv - lose what’s going on.
BUT… when I TRY not to go on phone - I am just thinking about phone, or find myself wanting to google a characters actors name, or other things.
I think I am addicted to my phone.
I think the idea is that even though they hate each other - they still have the respect for each other to follow Taylor’s wishes.

But think of a small art website that sells art supplies - you find it, it’s great prices.
You found it with “cheap art supplies” 7 pages back in google.
You want to use it again - but you’ll never find it in google again.

I get what actionkaman is saying about the technology being useful in cars and stuff.
But look at offices - if we see through our monitors - all we’ll see is the wall of the cubicles 1ft behind it.
I can see something like “google glass” making a comeback - and those see-through monitors being projected into AR from the glasses.

Come on - it was 100% intended to be creepy by the writers.

He says; you look like Lois Lane.
That’s saying; superman + Lois Lane = a pair.
(I don’t think it was supposed to mean the actress looks like Amy Adams at all.)
Every adult in the IT universe has been fooked up by IT since they were kids - so they are all twisted in some way.
When IMDb closed the boards. I was sad. All I used it for was the boards.
For months - I had nothing!
Then I found another site - they had grabbed the IMDb boards database - even made a plugin so you could add the boards back to IMDb - but there just werent enough members to talk.
Now I have this place and I use and it’s great!! I just read posts mainly. But it’s like old times again :)

I was always disappointed that Tails real name was Miles. Why??!!
He was a fox with two tails that could fly.
Because of this post - it got me thinking - there’s probably a list of every babies name born each year.
I found 100 top names - but I was trying to see names where only 1 baby was called it that year.
I wanted to see - as last year my sister called her new baby Gizelda - and I thought that’s a fooking strange name. I’d love to be able to find it on that list and say “look - only you were crazy enough to call your baby that out of everyone in the uk!”
Ahh, sibling rivalry.
I think the real point here is - the dog picture on top was much better then the squiggly line rubbish underneath.
One looks like a kid did it - the other would be hard to copy with the dogs, detail etc.
Just shows you it’s all about name not the skill.
Why did she rip it open anyway? It was just a little lose in the frame. You couldn’t see under it.

Lots of seen - and I would class as great series! Broadchurch/the missing etc - perfect examples of "one off" series to me. (A lot of brits on here then?)
