I know this is way too old, but I was reminded of a Twilight Zone episode with an old man and his dog. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Hunt_(The_Twilight_Zone) Just throwing this out there, maybe will prod your memory. This can't be right but your description reminded me of "The Private Eyes" (1980) with Don Knotts as the Holmes character. I finally found this episode, it is X-Files season 1 ep. 4 "Conduit" about 34 minutes in. Not computer printouts, but a kid draws 1s and 0s on papers then arranges them on the floor to make a picture of a woman's face. Not horror but a ghostie: Believe (2000) Another to cross off your list: Darkness (2002/2004), alas no dog :( Because of the dog, maybe: Bad Moon (1996) Deep in the Darkness (2014) Here is a direct link to the scene in The Bat https://youtu.be/QRBU5uQaIW8?t=3035 Many thanks for the suggestions. I will make a list of films I have re-watched and try to keep it updated. Another parasite movie, Shivers (1975) Thank you. The search feature may be a bit odd. I was searching for the movie “Pulse” which should return several results. Specifically “Pulse (1988)” but I had to include the year to get the result. I remember the printouts on the floor scene, now I need to know too! The first thought that jumps into my mind is The X-Files for some reason. Can you remember what year it could have been? The scene I remember is probably from the 90’s. The camera started in close then slowly zoomed out to reveal the big picture. Found it: Warlock Moon(1973) Was it not “Enter the Devil” (1972) ? This is a longshot, doesn’t seem to fit your description, but could it be “Drag me to hell” (2009)? While not specifically kids' movies, some kid friendly films we have watched on Halloween include: The Ghost and Mr. Chicken Mystery Mansion The Private Eyes The Gorilla The Watcher in the Woods (could be too scary for small kids) Possibly... “Shriek of the Mutilated” (1974) Maybe "She-Wolf of London" (1946) ? The Bat (1959)
