It could be a PR stunt, but not all charitable works are PR stunts. I will give her the benefit of the doubt and say that it isn't a PR stunt.
About the only celebrity I have ever truly heard of that is self-effacing is Keanu Reeves. I am sure he is not the only one who truly does good work, however. I have heard that Gary Sinise, after having been in "Forrest Gump", have devoted himself tirelessly to veteran's problems.
Okay, I think most of us on here are tired of your inaccuracies because you couldn't finish the film. That's like trying to review a film without viewing it first. Oh, that's what you did!

When he split into two beings, it was actually happening more or less in his psyche. His good persona fighting his bad persona. They were both super powered, as evidenced by the "evil" Superman throwing Clark into the car crusher and Clark finally bursting out of it, unharmed.

It's funny that someone with the screen name "moviebuff" would not finish watching a film. It has been my experience, being a "movie buff" means that you will watch a film to the end to get the full experience.
Such language. Shows your intelligence level. Of course, many of the people on here, including myself, think that you are trolling to get a reaction. Who in their right mind would quit watching a great movie before it ended?

In 1978, the year after the first Star Wars appeared, I was a 27-year-old guy who always loved Superman and I thought ... finally, a Superman done right!
I watched the film again last night and was looking for something that explained his huge growth, and I found it!
At one point in the film, it is shown the atomic testing happening and there is a quick shot of Godzilla staring to mutate in the ocean. It is quick, only about a couple of seconds, but it's there.
Because it is a great movie. And besides, a lot of foreign films outclass American productions.

I am 72 years young as of this post, and I remember seeing several of the old Godzilla movies in theaters. And while I will admit that some of them were basically kiddie fare, this new Godzilla is all death and destruction instead of being some enormous superhero.
On the budget that the producers had to work with, they accomplished the incredible.
A Godzilla that out classes many of the Japanese films that have preceded it, and gave, from my viewpoint anyways, a very engaging story from the human perspective.

The movie had me until the werewolf brawl at the end, followed by Del Toro's Lawrence Talbot dying.
They are both pretty. I think Dakota is a slightly better actress and she did a good job in "Equalizer 3"
