As good as Cruise was, Ritchson is closer to the character in the book. It has to be remembered that the wet squad were professional assassins. That's why Reacher had to take them out one by one. The last guy caught him off guard. It doesn't matter how big you are. Someone who know how can take you out, no matter his size (or your size). The guys in the prison may have been buff and tough, but Reacher knew how to handle them. Reacher is what Jack prefers to be called. It goes by his military training. I was in the service, and everyone called everyone by their last names. It sounds to me like she was NOT wanting to be the center of attention! And for your information, they have many celebrities and corporate CEOs ring the bell. Almost every day some one or some group is doing it. I agree with you it is not really that big of a deal, but it is happening. Being the actor he is, he is very generous with his costars. In "The Green Mile", during one of the conversations he has with Michael Clark Duncan's character John Coffey, he, according to Frank Darabont, the film's director, gave an Oscar worthy performance OFF CAMERA to help Duncan get to the point he had to get to in the course of the dialogue. Say what you will, I think Hanks has earned his Oscars through great acting (and helping his scene partners get their best performance). Really? Now we are going the "pedo" route? I did not read anything like that in the movie. Sorry you did. That says more about you than it does about the movie. Okay! No I haven't, but now I will! Many years ago, at the height of his popularity, he said in an interview that he NEVER considered himself a good actor. He said he was an action movie star. It was noticed, by many people. I laughed when J.K. Simmons appeared at the end of "Far From Home". If Blade makes an appearance, it will more likely be Mahershala Ali as he is going to be the new Blade. And, in my humble opinion, taking nothing away from Mr. Snipes (who did an excellent version as Blade), I think Mr. Ali is a far better actor. Watch him in "Green Book" playing off Viggo Mortensen, who I think is an EXCELLENT actor. I agree wholeheartedly. It is a wonderful film, full of a lot of heart and life lessons. Your opinion, and you are entitled to it. Though I do not agree with it. Your screen name says a lot about what you value in life apparently more than anything else. Morgan Freeman elevates every movie he is in. In my humble opinion, he is one of the greatest actors who ever appeared in film. My absolute favorite drama is "The Shawshank Redemption", and I truly believe that the film would not have been nearly as good as it is without Morgan 's amazing narration. Nope. Uncle Ben was killed by a robber. Nope. Two different people. Peter's uncle Ben was KILLED by a robber. Benjamin Grimm is The Thing, and bullets bounce off his thick hide.
