Dead People You Wish Had a TV Talk Show

Marlon Brando
Frank Zappa

(You know, Orson Welles has a pilot on YouTube, the interviews would have been great, some of the other stuff was awful)

reply

Nero.

reply

Cicero
Virgil
Livy

reply

"Countrymen, lend me your phones!"

reply

Clark Gable
Bogart
Chaplin
Cary Grant
Wm. Shakespeare
George Washington
Lincoln
Marilyn Monroe
Bette Davis

reply

George Washington was a man of few words.
Chaplin would have been a good one.
Bogart would have been a great guest not host,
Marilyn Monroe - forget it. She could barely read her lines.
Bette Davis would end up fighting with the guests.
Cary Grant could have pulled it off.
Lincoln - same as Washington - not outgoing enough
Shakespeare - a straight non-entertainment host maybe like Tom Snyder. PBS is an option.

reply

lol @ MM, and yeah, Bogart would have made a great guest!

reply

[deleted]

Bud Abbott with Lou Costello as sidekick, of course

reply

Belle Gunness. Just so I could know more about her. That is one interesting Female.

reply

she might kill the guests

reply

That would be original.

reply

LOL... anything for originality!

reply

Oliver Reed and friends, in which Oliver Reed talks the likes of Peter O''Toole, Richard Burton and George Best, whilst drunk! 🍻🍺

reply

Other guest should include Richard Harris and Robert Shaw.

reply

Definitely! I imagine the set would be cheap because the cost of the show would be spent on booze! 🍻🍺

reply

Yes, and much furniture would be broken.

reply

It would be something like this but every week! https://youtu.be/EZMXIxIQmPw

reply

Errol Flynn could have been fun.

reply

yeah, fighting with John Huston over an insult Errol made to Olivia de Havilland
