reply

That’s a damn good list there! You don’t see Saturday Night Fever on many top list but I must say I love it too.

reply

It is criminally underrated because most people think it's just a dance film but it isn't.

I think when they released the "PG-version" to try to appeal to a wider audience it kind of killed the film.

reply

Here are my 25 but I could not place them in order:

Cleopatra (1963)
Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill! (1965)
The Good, The Bad and the Ugly (1966)

reply

Excellent list
I really need to see The Wild Geese...several regs seem to love it

reply

It’s a special film to say the least. An actual Congo mercenary named Mad Mike Hoare was the technical advisor so you get some really authentic gear for the times like lots of UZIs and FALs. Richard Harris and Richard Burton were both banned from alcohol durning the filming. Lol. Moore and Kruger were great as usual. The film has a hell of an ending so if you do check it out please let me know what you think.

reply

Banning Harris and Burton from tipping a glass sounds damn near impossible!

I'll seek it out for sure👍Thanks Mojo

reply

Faster pussycat. Haji has some very large boobs.

reply

In almost all cases Russ Meyers ladies are well endowed. Haji is my favorite of the trio for sure.

reply

funny, that's the 2nd time i've seen charley varrick, a movie i don't know at all, pop up as a favourite/suggestion.
some twitter person suggested yesterday that it would make a great double-feature with dragged across concrete, one of my favourite movies of this year.

Charley Varrick was the movie director Don Siegel’s made after Dirty Harry. Now that’s a double feature!
Btw, I love all three of Craig Zahlers films - Bone Tomahawk, Brawl In Cell block 99 and Dragged Across Concrete
