Watching movies at home or in the cinema?

There's is a summer holiday which I spent it by watching 3-4 movies everyday, that's so...I don't know how could I persist that...but it's actually because of that holiday, now I'm studying filmmaing, like, wanting to be a filmmaker or something...oh,just went too far.So I just wonder which ways do you guys like to watch movies,at home, with friends,or along,in the cinema,or even a train or bus? It's interesting to me at least. After all ther movies I've ever seen,I think there are always some special pieces that you wanna enjoy them alone,in a dark house, even wash you hands, put on your fancy clothes, and treat them like a halidom hahahahahahaha

I prefer to watch at home. No obnoxious people, can pause, rewind, skip through boring parts, and I can hear everything and see it better up close.

I usually watch movies alone or with my girlfriend. I travel a lot for work, so sometimes me and my girl will pull up a movie or show on netflix and text while we watch.

I just got her into Breaking Bad a couple weeks ago, and when I asked her if she was ready for the next episode, she told me she already finished the first season. Lol

I wish I could relive watching breaking bad for the first time again.

Personaly it is a holiday so I would watch movies spent my afternoon in a lazy boy or any sofas really, thats so... I don't know cool feelin' baby like a baby I mean just chillin' and wataching mobies. So in that case, would not really matter what movie I was wayching cause you know it was just aboot the situation you're in like I mean if you're gonna enjoy your afternoon why not also make some tea and be A gentlemanly Brit for awhile too... because you see its random af and cookies go with tea alongside them very well.I like cookies.Putting fancy clothes and beyond the pool would also recommended, while accompanied by my lovely dog. This is whats I call live muahahahahahah

I mostly prefer to watch them at the cinema. I get much more focused there without any interruptions and the Dolby sound makes you much more inmerssed into it.

Now there are movies that i don’t mind waiting to watch them at home and make my prioritiy to watch superhero movies, musicals and my Disney remakes in theaters.

All the other genres while I still prefer to watch them in cinema too, it’s something that doesn’t bother me much to watch them at home but blockbusters and Musicals are a most to watch them in theaters.

I still enjoy the theatrical experience. The big screen, the surround sound. The audience can add something too if its a good one, though that's usually a crap shoot.

Whew! I’m out of breath reading your long, never pausing string of a post! 🙅‍♀️

Hard question. I love both. At home, you're comfy, on your couch, but cinema has it's pluses. It has huge screen. Plus it's some kind of adventure to prepare for the cinema, go out, do some unusual road trip (unlike boring work routine). Another thing I like about cinema is that, it's in the mall and I like malls and shopping and most thing I like about this is that, hall inside the cinema is always almost empty. Maximum people I've seen here were 4 people and this is maximum. Usually when me and my wife go there, it's just us and maybe one more couple and that's it. Sit, wherever you want, free from noise, big nice Imax screen and enjoy movie while eating popcorn and drinking pepsi. I buy tickets & pepsi/corn online and they do some nice sales (30-40%). We commute with train, because it's a bit far away from our house. So, it's like an adventure for us :)

^^^^This! Could not agree more, ditendra! What you describe sounds like an enjoyable time. I wish I could commute via train.

I'd watch more in the theaters if they'd stop shelling out crap movies. That, and if they'd stop charging so much for even ordinary, everyday tickets. I'm not into IMAX screens or fancy dinner-with-movie kinda deals, nor am I enthusiastic about 3-D (Disneyworld kinda spoiled me for ever truly loving a pure 3-D film. "Avatar" really disappointed me).

I like watching movies at home more anyway, because I can pause it any time to take breaks, my family can join in if they so choose, our living room furniture is very comfy (we had it replaced just a few years ago), I can eat or drink whatever I want while watching, we can adjust the temperature of the room if it gets too cold, and we don't have to sit through 20 solid minutes of commercials about films/products I don't care about.
