shareI have watched the Star Wars movies and plenty of them are rubbish. Even the first three while worth watching are vastly over-rated. My favourite is 'The Force Awakens' because it looks spectacular and Daisy Ridley is such a Star.

I disagree. Sometimes people get into certain genres and stick to them. There’s nothing wrong with devoting ones time to the type of films they like and ignoring mainstream titles that popular culture is pushing. It’s the same thing with music. Just because some kind of rap is popular today would you think badly of a person who said no thanks, I’ll stick with (insert whatever music type)?
Also, there is only so much time in a day. Why spend it watching the type of movies you know your not into anyway?
I envy you never having seen a Star Wars movie. I've never seen a Harry Potter film, and I couldn't care less.
