Is there life after death?

Face it; this is the most important question there is. I believe there is, in the sense that Alan Watts best explains: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L3MA0n4jEXk
Basically we're all part of Universal Consciousness which is always here; i.e. our awareness is a constant. It can't disappear when our bodies stop working, because the world and the rest of the universe is still here.
It's also described well in Laura Nyro's song And When I Die. Yes the Blood, Sweat, and Tears hit and Bruce Lee's favorite song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GDX27aWnL88
In this era of Covid it's something people think more about. Any other thoughts?

Uh yes there is, the world still exists after you die.

When I want answers to this question, the LAST places I’ll go are MovieChat, YouTube and Laura fucking Nero.

Alan Watts was a gift to humanity.

reply

True. I mean in the ideal world he would be the most studied philosopher in history.

No. When you die its a complete end to life. You know nothing, feel nothing and remember nothing. I just think a lot people don't want it to end so they say they believe there is life after death. So live the best life you can because its the only one you get.

reply

I'm glad you're wrong. In this case ignorance isn't bliss.
