Is there life after death?

Face it; this is the most important question there is. I believe there is, in the sense that Alan Watts best explains: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L3MA0n4jEXk
Basically we're all part of Universal Consciousness which is always here; i.e. our awareness is a constant. It can't disappear when our bodies stop working, because the world and the rest of the universe is still here.
It's also described well in Laura Nyro's song And When I Die. Yes the Blood, Sweat, and Tears hit and Bruce Lee's favorite song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GDX27aWnL88
In this era of Covid it's something people think more about. Any other thoughts?

I doubt it but, like everyone else’s opinion, that’s pure speculation.

reply

I'm fairly sure there is death after life but the other way around I don't think so.

I have no idea. And neither does anyone who answered the question on this post, regardless of how smug or sure of themselves they are that they are correct. You can certainly have faith in something. You can believe it goes this way or that way...but no one really knows for sure.

Only people who are dead know if there is life after death...or maybe they don’t. Once again...who knows.

I DO know there are things that go WAY beyond human understanding, and this is definitely one of them.

God told me no.

Only a liar would know...but he lies still. 😐

Yes

No clue, but perhaps we'll all find out eventually.

I believe that energy can neither be created or destroyed, so I think that our energy does transform into something else when we die, but I do not believe that it is a soul or a consciousness.

No superbowl for you either:)

reply

Oh no. I am not a fan of American football, or really watching any sport on tv.

I would watch a superb owl though.

reply

I'm keeping up with the score, but I've watched too much football to please guys. Those days are over:)

reply

I've actually made guys watch rugby. We had the Churchill cup in my city for a couple of years, but having to explain what was happening got annoying.

I don't mind going to hockey, rugby, or even football, but I really dislike watching sports on tv. (although I will watch Olympic curling with my family)
