Marilyn Monroe, hands down. She had a horrible life and the worst part is that the press seemed to relish capturing every moment. There is footage of her looking like she spent hours crying her eyes out, while the press was shoving cameras in her face without a care in the world. I don't remember if it was around the time she was getting divorced, but you could see the raw pain in her face. Plus, Paddy Chayefksy really did her dirty with that crap film, The Goddess.

Anna Nicole Smith--same reason. She was in so much pain towards the end of her life, and she never had a moment's privacy. Even her husband saw her as media fodder. When her son died of an OD, he shot a picture of her hugging his dead body, and you can tell that it was right when her grief was at its rawest (her face was blood red) and as he had just died (his eyes were open). Her husband couldn't have cared less, was clearly looking for his money shot to sell to the papers, which I think never happened because of how utterly tasteless it would've been. (The National Enquirer and TMZ would've been destroyed had they dared publish it).
