For me, it's peanut butter, and apricot jam on white bread. Can't stop eating it.
Let's see other combinations. I might try out some mentions in this thread in the future.

When I’m making a curry I like to put sliced green apple in with it. I guess some people might find that odd but the sweetness of the apple gives it a nice flavour, to me anyway.
sharethat would absolutely never occur to me.
i'm making a curry tonight. i usually make a big batch every second friday for 4-5 meals.
maybe i'll put a portion aside and cook it a little longer with a bit of apple added. i can't imagine liking this, but i'm willing to be proven wrong.
I’d be interested to hear what you think if you do try it.
I know many people have an issue with fruit in savoury dishes, but as I said I think it’s really tasty. It’s something my mother used to do when I was young, don’t ask me where she got the idea from though!
because i have the attention span of a moth, i completely forgot to pick up apples from the way home from work, & it's too miserable out to run to the shop & pick some up.
but this idea is now planted in my head, and i will make a point of trying this.
One time for some reason I tried eating banana with an avocado. They both have a similar consistency and have oil/fat. It was actually pretty good. I wonder how it would be with peanut butter too. Never did it again, but it was interesting.
shareI regularly cook curry and have added chopped green apples (in the last 20 minutes) many times as well. If one likes chutney on the side with curry then this is likely to please. Usually I do this when I lack chutney. That or I do gold raisins as a topping along with my customary peanuts, ginger, and sweet onions.
It shouldn't seem too crazy. Thai curry has that sweet edge from coconut milk.
Yeah, I discovered adding leftover apple and pear cores to my curries/stews and they got instantly better!

That's good. Peanut butter and chocolate also are a classic food pairing. Maybe it's the saltiness of the PB and the sweetness of the chocolate.
