Let’s all have a jolly time shall we!? Look out for the Boromir Special for Saturday’s late night picks!!

This Movie Party will allow two things to happen:
 -people will be able to watch the same movie at the same time and interact here
-people will be able to have common movies to watch over the weekend and share reviews on my other weekly thread.   

Event #1: Friday night, Dec.22 9PM Eastern time (if you want to watch live) and event closes Sunday at 9PM (if you haven’t been able to watch live.)

To be honest, I've never checked on any conversations from movie night since horror films are not in my wheelhouse. You may be right that folks find it easier to discuss horror rather than more serious movies.

To be clear, I think movie night is a great idea to engage people here on MC.

I think even us, true horror fans, admit that horror movies are rather bad in general so you don’t care if you get drunk and just write a bunch of stuff online while watching some crazy shit. When we watch more serious movies we throw a few comments here and there about the movie but it doesn’t get crazy like it does right now. I double dare you to try to read at least a few pages last Friday. we do like 33 page a weekend of pure drunken madness.. so much fun

There is also the time of the year. For me September October, November, December are awesome months to watch a horror movies. I can promise you one thing, though it won’t always be horror movies (or even worse/better horror/comedies!)
