For my fellow Canadians - Dollarama just settled a class action suit over hidden fees:

"Under the terms of the agreement, anyone who purchased batteries, lightbulbs, toys and other items that were subject to the EHF in Quebec between Dec. 11, 2019 and July 4, 2023, or elsewhere in Canada between April 29, 2021 and July 4, 2023, is entitled to compensation."

You probably don't need them.

You make a claim and you get the gift card, not sure how they will determine the maximum.

We have had similar class actions and you don't always need your receipt.

Well, global body odour probably rose a few digits but I don't think that's ruining the world.

When Flight of the Conchords got cancelled, now that ruined the world.

Kowalski's stench was most prominent of the writer's room for Flight of the Conchords and they decided they couldn't work under those conditions and cancelled it.

Holding companies accountable is never silly.

On an unrelated note, that email you're going to get about a certain pump and pills tomorrow is totally not from me.

I might have sold the email list to Kowalski for an unexpired Febreze coupon.

dollarama has sales of $1.5 billion a year and is worth nearly $30 billion. so i guess they can afford this.
