What's the Last Movie You Bought from Walmart?

For me, it was V/H/S/ 85 on DVD for $12.88.

Our local Walmart has decimated it's movie section to one small rack and the discount bin has gone the way of the dodo.

I saw the Korean movie The Moon last week and was going to get it today, but sadly they had one copy and it's now gone. Someone please tell me the movie is not dubbed or subtitled and is horrible to make me feel better.

And you?

I think I may have never bought one from Walmart.

I did buy It, Chapter One for $3 from the used game store here in town. They also sell used movies.

Point Break (1991) in 2003. I hate Walmart, but it was the only store in the area I was in at the time. That's why I remember it so well lol.

A while back I grabbed the Fast n Furious 8 movie pack. It was only 20 bux or something.

reply

I got that one too. That was a whole lotta movies for that price.

Went to another Walmart to look for that Moon movie and got the last Indiana Jones movie on blu-ray for $20 and inspired by Kowalski (I don't plan on saying that many times), I got an Eddie Murphy Beverly Hills Cops three movie collection for $5.00.

reply

None. Never shopped Walmart. I just can't...I worked for Target for over 25 years. Heck, I can't even remember the last movie I bought. I did recently buy a few box sets of TV series I like.

reply

you hate walmart because of Target ? what did you doat Target for 25 years ?

reply

I don't hate it. I just don't shop there. Why would I? At Target, I get an employee/retiree discount. Along with my Red Card discount, I get 15% off everything, with only a couple of exceptions. Also, free shipping when I use my Red Card.

I worked many different jobs during my Target career, including two stores as supervisor in different areas at different times (jewelry, electronics, toys/seasonal, clerical, etc.) as well as three different HQ locations (benefits, finance/accounts payable/audit, and vendor representative).
