I think only mild cheese for a sandwich. I'm not even that crazy about Swiss. American is about as tangy as I want. Muenster and Havarti are also good choices. Provolone certainly isn't super strong, but too tangy for me. I don't deny its popularity, in fact it's the only cheese that Jimmy John's offers.

I like pickles a lot as a burger topping but McDonald’s pickles are really hit or miss.

The cheesburger is very good but all too often the McDonalds cheeseburger pickle slice is a crunchy rancid fossil!

I've always hated it. It was all my mom ever bought, and I thought it was just gross. I thought it and mayo were the same. So I was probably an adult when I realised they were different. I actually like a little mayo.
