Good day. I'm new here and my name is fourlemons. In way of a brief biography I am a former IMDb message board poster who has tried other forums only to find the experiences (in comparison to IMDb) much like eating ice milk with freezer burn after years of eating freshly scooped ice cream. After recently performing one of many internet searches over the years asking where the heck can I find a message board that is close to IMDb, this one was finally suggested to me. In fact I see that posts that I myself wrote years ago are archived here. Would you recommend that I land here and stay awhile or keep searching the galaxy?

Thanks again for the warm welcome and for explaining about the 10 minutes between posts. Knowing me it won't take too long to get up to 100 posts. As an IMDb veteran I am used to being a pretty prolific poster and the quirkier the better! I kind of feel like maybe I found my new home. 🎉

As for the meaning of my username that will be revealed in time. Perhaps. 😁❤

The IMDb forums were better than this forum in almost every way. The biggest thing that was better about it was that it had drastically more traffic and members, which naturally meant more intelligent members with a wider range of interests, therefore more potential for intelligent conversation on a wider variety of topics.

The only thing about the IMDb forums that was worse than this forum was the utterly nonsensical "punishment" that they were so fond of, i.e., indiscriminately deleting a member's entire post history. It didn't punish the targeted members at all, because they'd obviously already read every post they'd ever made, but it punished everyone else, because it ruined a bunch of threads due to all the missing posts.

Welcome to the site.. This is truly one of the better movie websites on the internet that doesn't ban you for sharing a difference of opinion like Box Office Theory or World of KJ Index. The MODS when seen are very laid back and are not looking to nuke you unless you really screw up and you'd have to screw up pretty bad to be banned from this site

That's why I come here. It's a free speech zone. I know because I used to be extremely aggressive with defending my views, and was only ever modded when I went nuclear on some old lady's uninvolved family members.
