She’s overweight now and has been obese at times during their marriage. But she was svelte and conventionally beautiful when the met/wed.

Because stupid people think handsome men are supposed to trade in their wives for younger models when they get older and put on weight. I think they're a great couple, and their commitment is an example to us all.

BTW, the guys who've traded in for younger models don't seem to be very happy people. Perhaps because deep down, they're shallow.
