I think he doesn't like Donald Trump

I think Robert De Niro does not like Trump very much.

I might be wrong.

reply

Nah, you're not wrong, but Deniro as much as I enjoy his movies, is a liberal pinhead and is obsessed with the man

reply

He is a complete joke.

TRUMP 2024

reply

Yup, has been ever since 2016. His most recent contribution to the Trump bitchfest on The View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dtb5fhCkIlc I've never seen him able to make it through an interview about Trump without resorting to profanity. It reminds me of a definition about that I once encountered..."It's the effort of a feeble mind attempting to express itself forcibly." And it's preceded by the phony apology of, "excuse my French." And notice the smug expression on his face when he gets everyone's approval afterwards. He's sickening! I've lost all respect for him.

reply

It's basically his only way of being relevant anymore. He's a good actor. But mention Trump, and he just goes bat guano crazy.

reply

It's been the same, wearisome, predictable spiel with him for years now. Quickly into the interview, he starts comparing Trump to Hitler and Mussolini. Then shortly after that comes the cussing. I'd like to know specifically how Trump's presidency and policies have affected his wealthy, celebrity lifestyle so negatively.

reply

He's not even a very good actor. Typically just a one-note guy who plays the same kind of character over and over. People just equate him with good because he has been in some very good movies. This guy is a total dick. Just like Jimmy Kimmell....just like Stephen Colbert.....just like Seth Meyers....Joy Behar....even Fallon has turned into an a-hole when it comes to far left douchebaggery.

I can't believe I'm saying it...but I'm starting to respect Bill Maher.

reply

I despise those so-called celebrities as well. And I also have a newfound respect for Bill Maher, especially with this latest: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wpmcdAcAb_Y

reply

I totally agree with you. I used to despise Bill Maher but he's about the only talking-head that calls a spade a spade. I watch Fox News but even I agree they are way too far-right and pro-Trump to maintain their credibility.

reply

but I'm starting to respect Bill Maher

I never thought I'd say it either, but I agree with you Ripkens25. In the one clip I saw of him on The Liberal View, May 2024, I did actually agree him. While Joy Beher defended Biden to the end, Maher simply stated that There's no denying that the guy simply portrays as OLD.

Then Maher was on Gutfeld the night after, and I agreed with him again!

For awhile I thought Bill Maher had moved right to fill Rush Limbaugh's void, but now I don't think he's moved quite that far right. But for what little I've seen of him lately, he's actually making sense.

reply

He has become a voice of reason.

reply

I lean right, and even I recognize that Fox News is not objective.

reply

Of course Fox skews way to the right. They don't even try to hide it or suggest otherwise. The problem is....the other networks (like MSNBC , CNN, NPR, etc....) skew way to the left, but try to pretend otherwise. They're so biased it's not even funny.

Heck, MOST media skews left. Look at the nightly monologues on Fallon, Kimmell, Colbert, Seth Meyers......it's a nightly hatefest on Trump.

reply

I understand and you're exactly "right", that they lean left while pretending to be "news" organizations. It's frustrating all around, because where do you go for unbiased news? Both sides clip together videos that accentuate their views; it's all smoke and mirrors.

I might have to give Maher another look.

But honestly I think Bill O'Reilly and Megyn Kelly were less obnoxiously ultra-right than the current crew.

I used to enjoy late-night TV but I can't watch anymore if all they're going to do is bash Trump and Republicans. Turn the page. Bring back Jay Leno for God's sake. I never thought I'd say that!

reply

Bill O'Reilly was the OG

reply

I miss him a lot. I'm just not in love with the current crew (other than Kat Timpf!)

reply

You're not wrong, he hates Trump. The man is suffering from an acute case of TDS.

reply

Yeah he went on a profanity-laced tirade on The View, or one of those other shows nobody watches. [I saw the clip on Fox News]. I wish these actresses would stay in their lane. The more they dip their toes into politics, the more I hate them. For example, I will never EVER watch another Alec Baldwin movie or show again. Be careful DeNiro, you're next!

( I will always love his post 9/11 skit on SNL about the terrorists though, e.g. shit-my-drawers ).

only Trump is Trump

reply

Yes JoWilli.

I'd say Robert De Niro is not a Trump supporter based on his recent comments. Oh well.

reply

It's too bad he had to go and reveal his true colors as a Lunatic Leftist. I used to like him as an actor and entertainer. But now he's on my ever-growing HATE LIST that includes {Stephen Colbert, Alec Baldwin, and many others}.

reply

It's a long ass line, let me tell ya.

reply

LOL.

reply

He might be upset because although he has nipples, Trump has thus far refused to milk him.
