And they call the team unpatriotic…

She loves her country, she just hates the racists and wants equal pay. She also hates Trump, but who doesn’t.

I support the USNWT and am sorry they exited the World Cup early and I am not a MAGA-Republican - far from it - but I dislike Rapinoe and will be happy when she is no longer on the team.

Aren’t you grateful that she helped the USA win multiple World Cups, and top the Olympics medal table in 2012?

She is an exceptional athlete and has contributed to the US team’s past successes, though I think her beat years are behind her. However, I don’t like her personality, attitude or efforts to inject politics into sport. A polarizing figure, I think she is bad for the sport in America.

Who says we have to root gor the USA? I don’t live where I grew up. Do I have to root for the high school whose district I now live in? Do I have to root for all NY State colleges where I have lived all my life? Sometimes a team has to earn respect to be rooted for. This team lost my respect due to the actions of several if them. Hopefully in 4 years they’ll have earned having me root for them.

The team is unpatriotic. They aren’t out there representing the country, so why should the country root for them?

The equal pay thing is bullshit. The women’s team, was offered the same deal as the men, and they rejected it in favor of an incentive laced contract. Then they complained about missing out on bonuses that would’ve gotten if they were on the same deal as the men. So they tried to sue, and they lost for the reasons I mentioned. Btw immediately after you miss a penalty kick that gets you eliminated from the World Cup is probably not a good time to bring up equal pay.

Megan Rapinoe is the most patriotic American EVER -- a true and noble hero! (Or is that heroine?) OBiden should give her a call of commendation and even a Medal of Honor!! If there's any justice in the USA, there will be a statue of him -- I mean her -- in every city!!!

Why should women be entitled to equel pay with men? Its taken men 130 years to get to were we are today, plus the mens game is vastly superior
