After 15 years, I HAVE THE SOUNDTRACK!!!!!

I have literally been looking for the Best of the Best soundtrack for half of my life. Searching for it online was always impossible, because doing a search for "Best of..." was very popular and always took me to something dumb like "Best of Lyle Lovett".

Finally, this past Friday, by some miracle, I found it.

I heard a rumor that it was at FYE. We happen to have a small FYE outlet here in DC, so I drove over to check it out. They had the DVD, and they had a poster saying that the soundtrack was available (which was cool, when the hell was the last time you saw a BOTB poster ANYWHERE?!), but not the soundtrack itself.

I asked the lady to call the other stores. She called every store in the DC, MD, and VA area. In all of these stores, there was one left. I got on the phone, told them to hold it for me, and sped over to the other store.

Then, I finally bought it (for $9.99 LOL) and blasted in in my car. One word: WOW! I have always wanted to hear the other verses to "Best of the Best", and it was strange but cool. Also, they have the score for the final Tommy Lee vs. Dae Han battle, which is amazing. There are nine tracks in all, which basically does cover the whole movie.

So, sorry to anyone in DC, MD, or VA, but I have the last one. But rest assured, if you somehow are able to locate another copy, you will NOT be disappointed.

unfortunately,i had the same problems as you,finding the soundtrack...
actually,i still have them!
the problem is that becase in greece things are a bit complicated about soundtracks of old movies,i will be grateful if you give me the list of the songs that are in thesoundtrack of best of the best!
i mean titles and bands!

Best of the Best was reissued on CD last year exclusively through FYE stores. It can be ordered at this link (you may need to copy & paste the link):

I am amazed to see that I am one of many fans devoted to finding the BOTB soundtrack. Thank you so much, Jae, for posting the link to FYE's website. Couldn't believe my eyes! So, I've just ordered it, although it is on backorder. Now, my almost 15 year search is nearly over! THanks again!

Thanks for posting the FYE info. I have loved this movie for a long time. I started studying Tae Kwon Do at 19 and my buddy showed me the movie soon after. Yes, I know, many people say the acting is sappy, unbelievable, etc. But, so are many other movies out nowadays. (Any of the modern thriller/horror movies will fit here, Alone in the dark, SAW, even the cult classics Friday 13th, Nightmare on Elm St., Halloween, etc.) I liked this movie for the overall content. The soundtrack was excellent, so thanks again for posting the FYE info. I ordered a copy yesterday and will have it by the end of the week.

Wow!!! Lucky dog! I love this movie... the determination, the action, all of it. The soundtrack rocks & I can't begin to tell you how hard it's been to find.
