After 15 years, I HAVE THE SOUNDTRACK!!!!!

I have literally been looking for the Best of the Best soundtrack for half of my life. Searching for it online was always impossible, because doing a search for "Best of..." was very popular and always took me to something dumb like "Best of Lyle Lovett".

Finally, this past Friday, by some miracle, I found it.

I heard a rumor that it was at FYE. We happen to have a small FYE outlet here in DC, so I drove over to check it out. They had the DVD, and they had a poster saying that the soundtrack was available (which was cool, when the hell was the last time you saw a BOTB poster ANYWHERE?!), but not the soundtrack itself.

I asked the lady to call the other stores. She called every store in the DC, MD, and VA area. In all of these stores, there was one left. I got on the phone, told them to hold it for me, and sped over to the other store.

Then, I finally bought it (for $9.99 LOL) and blasted in in my car. One word: WOW! I have always wanted to hear the other verses to "Best of the Best", and it was strange but cool. Also, they have the score for the final Tommy Lee vs. Dae Han battle, which is amazing. There are nine tracks in all, which basically does cover the whole movie.

So, sorry to anyone in DC, MD, or VA, but I have the last one. But rest assured, if you somehow are able to locate another copy, you will NOT be disappointed.

The song "Something So Strong" is by Jim Capaldi. I downloaded it from Kazaa but it took a LONG time to find.

I have the list anyway for those that want it:

1. Tales of Power- Jim Capaldi
2. Best of the Best- Stubblefield and Hall
3. American Hotel- Kirsten Nash
4. Something so Strong- Jim Capaldi
5. The Devil Made me Do it- Golden Earring
6. Radar Love- Golden Earring
7. Backroads- Charlie Major
8. Original Score Medley- Paul Gilman
9. Someday I'll be gone ride in a Caddillac- Charlie Major

Although this is the list from the soundtrack- I think songs from the movie are missing- like the one that is playing while Tommy rides his motorcycle & thinks about his brother...and then decides to go back and fight. I'm trying to get my hands on all the songs and I'm still unsure of what song it is that's playing during the bar-fight b/c I haven't been able to dowload all the songs yet. Any help on that mystery song would be much appreciated!!

Not sure about the scene with Tommy on his bike, but the song playing in the barfight scene is called "The Devil Made me Do it" and is performed by Golden Earring. Hope this helps.

I know what you mean Ive been looking for the soundtrack for Best of the Best and ran into that rather large problem when i've tryed to search for the sound track. I am in the UK and wouldn't mind getting hold of the cd my self do you know if FYE is online or not

would be greatfull for any information on where i can buy the soundtrack
