Where's Alan

Gone?

reply

WA was so hopped up on cocaine and revenge…. he spent years terrorizing IMDB over an innocent dispute with the Kai. It sounds crazy talking about it. WA is building himself back up, got his ass into therapy and is finding clarity.

reply

I buried Alan last week. His doctor said it was cardiac arrest but I knew Alan better than anyone. Posting here was his life, and after he lost his credibility, it just broke his heart.

reply

WA wasn't always like what you saw. War with IMDB does something to a man.

reply

Bet you two are bored shitless without him.

reply

Not at all. I’d taken leave from work to focus on getting revenge for what he did on IMDb. it’s over now and I can get back to my company.

reply

You’re wrong. You’re going to Tahiti. Now.

reply

Party time.

reply

He’s not even a memory.

reply

Sam Gerard: Yes he is.... you aren't!

reply

The question remains.

reply

I’m not checking Devils Cauldron I’ll tell you that much. After the stunt he pulled last year…..

reply

He fakes his death every year. Maybe he’s standing behind a cardboard cutout of himself at his dojo, waiting for one of us to show up and inquire.

reply

How long has he been waiting behind the cardboard cutout? It’s been months now, surely he’s uncomfortable tired and hungry. Or is he still as giddy as a school girl thinking we’ll show up any moment so he can jump out and yell “Rawrrrr!”

reply

He didn’t think it through and now he’s stuck behind the cutout, refusing to admit his folly. Maybe he starved to death.

reply

Maybe he left England and moved to New Jersey? I heard Brexit was a disaster no doubt due to WA refusing to negotiate a trade deal with Dynatox.

reply

His pilgrimage to Newark ended in tragedy when he tried to make small talk with a homeless person outside the Larusso residence.

That's a shame he was a nice bloke, how did you find that?

reply

I wish we had been able to make peace with WA, he was a true warrior and honored the Kai as a worthy opponent, our greatest opponent. There will never be another like him on the boards. Godspeed Sensei Wears.

reply

Ditto to that, I did like reading all the discussions about KK3, I feel it wont be the same without him.

reply

Since this is deleted, what did I miss?

reply

We think Alan may have passed away , Terry silver posted a newspaper article saying he died in March, we dont know if it's real but if so R.I.P Alan

reply

Got a link to the article?

reply

They deleted the link.

Type, Alan wears Northern Echo into Google

reply

How do we know he isn’t in Tahiti laughing at us?

reply

Sam Gerard sent him there after he bottomed out on the board.

reply

Sam Gerard must be in hiding. Without the protection of WA he is as useless as Daniel San.

reply

Terrible news. Wears was a legend on this board and will never be forgotten. We may not have seen eye to eye, but I respected his resilience and courage. The board has not been the same without him. RIP to a titan.

This thread was an excellent read. Brought back memories of the good old days. I remember WA now.
