I watched it earlier today on BET and my favorite sketches had to be when Jamie Foxx portrayed Carl "The Tooth" Williams. "We'll just be Two Loked Out Brotha's goin' Crazy." That Was Classic. And I don't know about y'all but I Hated the Fly Girls. found them pointless.

Favorite ILC sketches include:
-Any Homey D. Clown
-Any Funky Finger Productions sketch
-Michael Jackson "Black or White" video parody
-Any "Mo' Money! Mo' Money!! Mo' Money!!!" sketch (surprised this hasn't been mentioned yet)
-Any Dysfunctional Family sketch ("PORK AND BEANS!!")
-Any Oswald Bates sketch, but especially the Reading Is Fallopian sketch, where he's teaching David Alan Grier's "big breastasis" character how to read
-The old blues singer who makes up short, awful songs ("Wrote a song about it. Like to hear it? Here it go!" If I remember correctly, they tried to make a white version of this character in the final season of the show with that fat guy playing an Irish tenor-type person who always sang depressing stuff. It was kinda funny, but so obviously a rip-off.)

And I also think the Fly Girls were pretty pointless. I feel like they were using up valuable time that could have been spent on precious, precious comedy.

reply

I always fast-foward the Fly Girls. That was the way it was in mid 80's-early 90's : lots of dancing and singing, but now the mentality has changed, sorry!

LoL!!!^^^^ I fast 4ward the Fly Girls also....it gets tired after a while.

reply

Damon Wayans and David Alan Grier as the flaming gay guys "hated it!"

It was rediculously funny.

My favorite sketches are "Grandpa..."~where Jaime Foxx portrays an old man pretending his dead dog is still alive. "Men on..." and my favorite music video parody...a parody of Sir mix-a-lot: "Baby got back"...called Trail mix-a-lot: "baby got snacks" played by Jamie Foxx.

~~I have all 5 seasons but most of the video parody's are not included, does anyone know why?

1. Homeboy Shopping Network
2. Homey the Clown sketches
3. Fire Marshall Bill sketches
4. Men on Films sketches
5. Michael Jackson 'Black or White' skit

reply

As far as recurring sketches, it's a tie between Fire Marshall Bill and Men On ___. One that I thought was great was called "Crown Heights Story" a Black/Jewish parody of West Side Story, with songs like "When you're a Jew" and "Menachem". Totally classic.

now the classics are great like fire marshall bill and mamas kitchen and so on, but last night i watched an episode that had 4 sketches in it that brought me back to the 90's which were when Keenen played FRENCHIE at the opera donation party, david allen greere and krystal waynes as the Brooks couple that fight eachother and try to kill eachother when nobodys watching, david allen greere as the blind blues muscian that made a song out of what people where talkin about. and then one with the two low budget movies directors that try to sell their movie to a company for a *beep* load of money. the one guy is like, "can i see the script" "yeah, brother, show my man the script" (whips it out with the both of them yellin out "BAM"

those were great amoug the others of course.

"woodcuck to grey squirrel......the doors locked again."

The one that cracks me up the most right now is the Milli Vanilli commercial. Also the juicer infomercial one was hilarious.

"Don't blame me! Blame society!"-Carl "CJ" Johnson

My favorite all time skits were Men On Films or whatever they were on LOL "We give this two snaps up with a twist!" and "HATED IT!" In an era when the political correctness police were starting to clamp down on everything and everybody this skit was a breath of funny fresh air LOL

I also loved when Jim Carey did Vanilla Ice in a dancing skit.At first I was 'oh my god they can't be having him on the show' But when he turned around and and I saw it was Jim Carey I about fell in the floor dying of laughter.

This show started and had it's run when I was in high school and was by far the most popular show any of us watched. And yes I have bought the dvd's

Speaking of sketches. I've got a question about Vera de Milo, or Jim Carrey actually. When he's making a little warm-up with his arms, one of them just literally broke as he wanted to stretch it too much. Hope u know what I mean.
So here's the question, can Jim really do that thing with his arm? Am pretty amazed by that and wanna know :)

reply

Homey Da Clown - "Homey don't play dat."

Fire Marshall Bill - "Let me show ya somethin'."

When Jim Carrey spoofed Vanilla Ice in "White White Baby." Hilarious!

My most favorite one is the "Mr. Uglyman" music video- parody of "Mr. Lovaman" by Shabba Ranks- who was one ugly bastard!! And, as always- the "Men On Film" sketches! Damon and David were almost perfect together in everything that they did!

reply

Anything with Tommy Davidson as a vitcim aganist Wanda (Jamie Foxx)

reply

I wish I could do the Wanda lips like Jamie fox and walk around public places saying, "Heey. Word up." or, "DON'T BE TRY'NA TALK TO ME!" then pull out my vasoline and start workin it in.

reply

Jim Carrey as the guy in the background of a actual news report doing all this funny stuff. those sketches brought me to tears.

Fire Marshall Bill-all of his sketches are funny

Tommy Davidson playing a persistant flight attendant, who bugged the hell out of Jamie Foxx's and his wife characters.

Jim Carrey playing Richard Simmons trying to help the carnivarous survivors of that plane crash.that was a real tear jerker there. ''Don't you know what they say,a mind is a terrible thing to taste.''
